Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has organized an Orientation Session on Pakistan Single Window (PSW) for Women Entrepreneurs at chamber house. President RCCI Saqib Rafiq welcomed the audience and briefed the session. Pakistan Customs Notifies Rules for Cross-Border Trade
Pakistan Customs has notified regulations that will govern cross-border trade under the Pakistan Single Window (PSW) system. The regulations were notified through a customs notification SRO98 of 2023, which will come into effect immediately. These regulations will apply to all users from individuals to commercial and non-commercial entities engaged in cross-border trade.

FBR notifies regulations for evidence of identity to accessing Pakistan Single Window
Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Monday notified regulations for evidence of identity for accessing Pakistan Single Window (PSW). The revenue body said that these regulations apply to all users, including individuals, sole proprietorships or bodies corporate registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) or the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, government organizations, diplomatic missions, foreign individuals and businesses or any other commercial and non-commercial entity engaged in cross-border trade, as well as the users involved in the provision of trade related services.
PSW Rolls Out the Lab Management System for the Ease of Doing Business
Pakistan Single Window (PSW) has begun rolling out the Lab Management System (LMS) for the electronic processing of lab test requests initiated by government agencies for clearance of imports/exports. In the first phase laboratories associated with the Department of Plant Protection (DPP) are on board with the system with the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) lab in Karachi and the GMO Testing Lab of Agricultural Biotechnology Research Institute (AARI) Faisalabad being the first ones to be fully integrated on the PSW platform.

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) has begun rolling out the Lab Management System (LMS) for electronic processing of lab test requests initiated by the government agencies for clearance of imports/exports. The new service enables the authorized officials from the relevant government departments to electronically request lab testing of any imported or exported goods and view the results online before issuing the requisite license, permit, certificate, or any other authorization.
