Continuing efforts to increase female participation in international trade, the Pakistan Single Window (PSW) and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) jointly hosted two specialised sessions in Sialkot and Gujranwala under the Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship Programme.
PSW and PAA Sign MOU to Digitize Cargo Throughput Charge Collection for Air Imports
PSW has signed an MoU with the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) to facilitate the digitalization of Cargo Throughput Charges (CTC) collection on import consignments arriving in Pakistan by air. Under this collaboration, the manual, paper-based CTC collection process is being replaced with end-to-end electronic workflows integrated into the PSW platform.
PSW and BoRS Sign SLA
PSW and the Board of Revenue Sindh (BoRS) signed a Service Level Agreement (SLA) formalizing the digital collection of Sindh Stamp Duty through the PSW platform. The agreement was signed by Naveed Abbas Memon, Chief Domain Officer at PSW, and Nazir Ahmed Qureshi, Member RS&EP at the Board of Revenue Sindh.
Why Data Matters
Pakistan has already demonstrated the economic value of digitalisation through the Pakistan Single Window (PSW). By digitalising trade processes, PSW is projected to cut annual trade transaction costs by roughly $430 million. More importantly, it demonstrates how trusted national digital infrastructure can transform information exchange between government and the private sector.
