Step-By-Step Process for Export Quota Request

The Processing Online Applications with PTB Module offers many Benefits to the stakeholders of cross-border trade such as:

Please visit ‘’www.psw.gov.pk” and click on the ‘Login’ option.

After clicking on the login button, the user will be redirected to the login interface. Here, you will be required to enter your login credentials.

Upon successful log-in, a dashboard will appear. At the Home Screen, click on the ‘Export Quota’ button.

Click the 'Create Export Quota' button to submit a new quota allocation request. A list of all Export Quotas (Approved/Rejected/Draft) will also be available under this tab.

Enter your business details under the 'Basic Info' tab, then click 'Save and Proceed.

Under the 'Commodity Details for Export Quota' tab, click the 'Add Commodity' button to add a new commodity, then click 'Save and Proceed.' A list of previously added commodities will also be displayed under this tab.

After selecting 'Add Commodity', a new screen will appear. Enter the relevant H.S. code and other details, then press 'Add' button to proceed further.

Under the Document Information tab, select the relevant documents, upload them by clicking on the ‘Select files’ and press the ‘Submit’ button.

Your export quota request has been successfully submitted.

Your request for export quota has been assigned to the relevant PTB officer for further processing.

You can also view the submitted details of the export quota request by clicking on the relevant request from the above list.

Visit www.psw.gov.pk and click on "Login." Enter your credentials to access your dashboard.

  • Log in to your PSW account and click on "Export Quota" from the dashboard.
  • Before applying for quota you must be registered with PTB through Registration Menu.
  • Click "Create Export Quota" to submit a new quota request.
  • Enter business details under the "Basic Info" tab and click "Save and Proceed."
  • Add commodity details under the "Commodity Details for Export Quota" tab by clicking "Add Commodity." Provide HS Code and other details, then click "Save and Proceed."
  • Upload mandatory documents under the "Document Information" tab by clicking "Select Files," then press "Submit."
  • Your request will be assigned to a PTB officer for further processing.

  • Log in to your PSW account and click on "Export Quota."
  • Select the request you want to amend from the list and click the Edit icon in the Action column.
  • Edit only the export quantity as per PTB regulations, provide remarks, and click "Submit."
  • Your amendment request will be assigned to a PTB officer for processing.


  • Log in to your PSW account and click on "Export Permit" from the dashboard.
  • Click "Create Export Permit" to submit a new permit request.
  • Select "Pakistan Tobacco Board" as the agency for the permit request and click "Submit."
  • Choose the request type ("With Export Quota" or "Without Export Quota") under the "Basic Info" tab, provide business details, then click "Save and Proceed."
  • •    Add commodity details under the "Commodities" tab by clicking "Add Commodity," then click "Save and Proceed." If you select "With Quota," only commodities with available quota balance will be displayed.
  • Upload mandatory documents under the "Documents" tab by clicking "Select Files," then press "Submit."
  • Your request will be assigned to a PTB officer for further processing.


Yes, in case of a previous year's crop, a PSID will be generated for payment of CESS amount before processing begins
