
PSW participated in the Regional Transport Ministers Conference (RTMC) 2025 , hosted by the Ministry of Communications, Government of Pakistan. The high-level three-day conference brought together transport ministers, senior policymakers, and stakeholders from 27 countries and 11 development partners to strengthen regional connectivity and promote sustainable transport cooperation.
The event was graced by key dignitaries, including Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan, Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, and several other high-ranking officials and international delegates. Both the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communications commended PSW’s pivotal role in advancing Pakistan’s trade competitiveness and fostering regional collaboration through digital innovation.
Aftab Haider, Chief Executive Officer - PSW, Joined the panel discussion on “Border Infrastructure, Trade Facilitation, and Smart Corridors ” at the conference. With extensive experience in trade facilitation and digital transformation, Mr. Aftab will share insights on how technology-driven solutions and modern border systems can strengthen regional connectivity and enhance trade efficiency.
At the conference, PSW showcased its digital trade transformation initiatives centered on smart border management, efficient trade corridors, and technology-driven regional integration. Its efforts in trade facilitation and process automation were widely recognized as a model for modernizing cross-border trade and enhancing connectivity across the region.
